Parainfluenza Dot Assay Kits
Parainfluenza IgM and IgG Dot assay test kits are rapid immuno filtration reagent kits, used to help the diagnosis of Parainfluenza infection in the point of care setting.
Parainfluenza Ab Dot Assay Kits
Parainfluenza IgM and IgG Dot assay test kits are rapid immuno filtration reagent kits, in which monoclonal parainfluenza antigens are used as capturer, and anti-human antibodies as detector based indirect assay principle. These parainfluenza serum test kits are used to respectively detect IgM and IgG antibodies specific to human parainfluenza virus (HPIV) in the serum specimen, and these parainfluenza serum test kits are used to help the diagnosis of Parainfluenza infection.
Usually, infection with parainfluenza virus can be confirmed by demonstration of a significant rise in the IgG antibody between appropriately collected serum specimens from the same patient, or the high concentration of specific IgM antibody in one single serum specimen.
Parainfluenza
Human parainfluenza virus (HPIV) is an enveloped single-stranded RNA virus, which can infect both the lower and upper respiratory tracts of human beings. The parainfluenza virus is the second most common cause of lower respiratory tract infection in younger children; the infection is most severe in infants and become less severe within the groups with higher age. Infections are most common in fall and winter. Similar to RSV, the first cause of respiratory tract infection in children, parainfluenza can cause repeated infections throughout life.
