anti-Trophoblast IgG DOT Assay Kit
We supply anti-Trophoblast IgG DOT Assay rapid test kit, which are used as an aid in the diagnosis of female infertility.
Intended Use
Anti-trophoblast antibody Dot assay (ATA) IgG Rapid test kit is a rapid test kit based on the Gold Immuno-filtration Assay (GIFA) principle, and it is intended to be used to detect the trophoblast specific IgG antibody in human serum specimen, and used as an aid in the diagnosis of infertility.
ATA Testing Principle
In this ATA test kit, purified trophoblast antigen is used as marker, and secondary antibodies, i.e. mouse anti-human IgG antibody conjugated with colloidal gold is used as detector. During the assay test, the IgG antibody specific to Trophoblast, if presents in the tested specimen, antigen+anti-ATr+anti-human-colloidal gold complex will develop in the test spot region, and colored spot will appear, indicating a positive result. If the specimen doesn't contain IgG antibody to Trophoblast, the colloidal gold particle will not be bound on the test region, and no color develops there, indicating a negative result.
Why ATA Test Matters
In a normal pregnancy, trophoblast cells aid the implantation of the fertilized egg into the uterine wall. When anti-trophoblast antibodies present, the action of the trophoblast cells may be suppressed, and may affect the implantation of the fetus, thus making it hard to become pregnant. As a result, Anti-trophoblast antibodies are usually used as an indicator of infertility.
ATA IgG Antibody and Infertility
Infertility primarily refers to the biological inability of a person to contribute to conception. Many reasons have been suggested, and the present of anti-trophoblast antibodies is one of them.
Trophoblasts are cells forming the outer layer of a blastocyst, which provide nutrients to the embryo and develop into a large part of the placenta. They are formed during the first stage of pregnancy and are the first cells to differentiate from the fertilized egg.
