FSH Menopause Test Kits
One-step FSH rapid test kits can detect the onset of menopause, thus help women with family history of premature menopause to get prepared for the syndromes coming along with menopause.
Intended Use
FSH rapid test kits are one step urine test kits, based on the lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay principle, and are intended to qualitatively detect the Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) in human urine specimen. The FSH test results are of great clinical value to the diagnosis of many problems related with reproductive activities in women, and can help the women with family history of premature menopause or vulnerable to menopause to get prepared both physically and mentally for the syndromes come along with menopause.
Testing Principle of FSH Rapid Test
In the FSH Rapid Test strip and cassette, monoclonal antibody colloidal gold particles are embedded in the Sample area. After urine specimen is added, the FSH hormone, if present, will bind with these particles, and the complex will move along the membrane. When reaching the testing line region, the complex will be caught by the pre-coated monoclonal antibody in the test line region under the antibody-antigen immuno binding effect, and if the concentration of FSH is higher than 25 mIU/ml, and a visually observable pink line will develops, indicating a positive result.
Menopause
Normal onset of menopause is between the age of 45 and 55. Many women in perimenopause and menopause feel depressed and irritable, and are vulnerable to many other symptoms.
Premature menopause is cessation of menstrual periods before the age of 40. The causes may be family history; medical treatments, such as surgery to remove the ovaries; cancer treatments, such as chemotherapy or radiation to the pelvic area. A woman having premature menopause are at more risk for osteoporosis later in life.
So for the women with family background or near the age of natural menopause, to test the FSH regularly is recommended to avoid the related diseases.
