Group-A Rotavirus Test Kits
Rotavirus antigen rapid test cassette, and rotavirus IgG and IgM dot assay rapid test kits are used in the diagnosis of rotavirus diarrhea, and IgG test can also check the immuno status of the human beings.
Group-A Rotavirus Test Kits
Atlas Link Technology Co., Ltd supplies three Rotavirus rapid test kits: rotavirus antigen rapid test cassette, and rotavirus IgG and IgM dot assay rapid test kits, which are all IMMUNOASSAY KITS used as an aid in the diagnosis of rotavirus diarrhea, and IgG test can also check the immuno status of the human beings.
Rotavirus-A Antigen cassette is a rapid testing device based on the gold colloidal solid phase double antibody sandwich immunochromatography principle, to detect group-A specific proteins, including the major inner capsid protein from the Group A rotavirus, in human stool specimens. While the Rotavirus-A IgG Dot assay and Rotavirus-A IgM Dot assay are testing devices based on the dot immunoassay filtration assay principle, intended to be used to detect the IgG and IgM antibodies specific to rotavirus in human serum.
Epidemic of Rotavirus
Rotavirus belongs to the viral family Reoviridae. Three serotypes of the viruses can infect humans, with rotavirus-A accounts for more than 90% of rotavirus gastroenteritis in humans.
Rotavirus is transmitted by the fecal-oral route. The faeces of an infected person can contain more than 10 trillion infectious particles per gram; while 10–100 are enough to transmit the infection. The virus can live a long time in the natural environment, and the usual sanitary measures can't kill the virus effectively. The infection can reoccur during the life time, and most of the subsequent infections are asymptomatic. But the asymptomatic patients can transmit infectious particles. These characters make the rotavirus very epidemic all over the world, both in the developing and developed countries.
