TOXO IgM & IgG Test Kits
Both one-step lateral flow Rapid Test kit and Dot Filtration Assay kit are available for the detection of toxoplasma IgG and IgM antibody isotypes, which are used in diagnosis of toxoplasma infection.

TOXO IgG & IgM Test Kits
For the detection of Toxoplasma infection, Atlas Link Technology Co, Ltd supplies both lateral flow Toxoplasma rapid test kits and Toxoplasma Dot Assay Kits; for both methods, both IgG and IgM test kits are available.
All these rapid TOXO test kits are based on the principle of Gold Immuno-chromatography Assay (GICA), using the antibody-antigen reaction to detect IgM and IgG antibody isotypes in human serum or plasma specimen respectively.
Application of TOXO Test
By detecting the Toxoplasma specific antibodies in serum samples from pregnant women, and by differentiating the IgM and IgG antibodies, TOXO test kits help to determine the immune status and the infection status of the patient, thus help administration properly.
Effects of Toxoplasma Infection
Toxoplasmosis is a systemic disease, caused by the protozoa Toxoplasma gondii. Human can be infected by contacting with infected meat and feces of a cat that has recently been infected, or by transmission from mother to fetus.
About one third of the world's human population is estimated to carry toxoplasma. During the first few weeks after infected, the infection typically causes a mild flu-like illness. Thereafter, the parasite rarely causes any symptom in adults. However, infection in a fetus can lead to serious consequences; abortion and stillbirth may occur when infection takes place during the first trimester of pregnancy, and irreversible neurological damages in case of infection during the second or third trimester.
